Text Box: We have a winner! Much to our surprise we have taken another first in the pig decorating contest. While we did not receive the "People's Choice" award were happy to have another blue ribbon. After 4 gallons of auto body filler, 3 coats of paint, two coats of clear coat, a lot of sanding and several late nights we finished our pig the night before the due date. Because we used automotive materials we had to work on the pig at another location. We borrowed a small trailer to shuttle the pig from the work site, to the riverfront. We also had help from Richard Kernen at Kernen's Hardware who made the bottle nose and cork on his wood lathe. John Peddie parted with a couple of pints of automotive paint from his body shop, and Heitz sign printed our label.
